Two More Days of Elfie Fun!

Two More Days of Elfie Fun!

It's been crazy busy here again with School Christmas Concerts, Spelling Bees, last minute Christmas shopping for gifts for those last minute office Christmas Parties, not too mention the last minute goodies the husband asked you to bake for that last minute party. (When I say "last minute" I mean "last minute" to me. I am sure hubby's known about it a month and likely didn't mention until, yes...the last minute!) Yes, its been busy, but I am trying really hard to relish every moment. All too soon the Christmas season will be over and it will be back to the same old, same old...Not that there's no joy in the regular routine...but there always seems to be that extra spark of magic around Christmas. (Maybe I've just been watching too many Christmas movies.)

Anyhow, here is what our Elfie has been up to the past two days:

Yesterday the kids found him in the Magic Bullet  making himself a smoothie. My older son, disappointed, complained that he's been WAY TO EASY to find. My daughter was worried he'd cut himself on the blades. Lol! I actually put one of the shaker tops on the bullet instead of the actual blade attachment...didn't want him losing any body parts! OK...so for tomorrow he needs to be more discreet and a less dangerous environment! Kids can be so hard to please!

This morning Elfie was in the freezer, making friends again! Quite the social butterfly he is! Notice the other two elves he's with. My kids got them from McDonald's the other night and insist on sticking them next to the elf each day so he doesn't get lonely. So sweet! Now on a not as sweet note, my daughter insisted I wait until Elfie goes back to the North Pole FOR GOOD before I buy anymore marshmallows. She is tired of Little Elfie messing with her sweet, gooey MARSHMALLOW GOODNESS! (My kids LOVE marshmallows.) Since Elfie was in the freezer the kids had a difficult time finding him. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, at least as far as being harder to find! As far as the danger factor...I am really hoping he doesn't get hypothermia in there!

HMMMM....now to start planning for tomorrow. Oh how I love PINTEREST!

Bulking Up!

What a social butterfly! Look at all the friends he's making!
